The aviation industry in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region is one of Süderelbe AG’s focal points. Its expertise in project management and networking with important institutions from research, industry and politics – at the local, national and international levels – have consolidated Süderelbe AG’s status as a key player in the world’s third-largest location for civil aviation.
Süderelbe AG’s goals are to secure long-term competitiveness, to foster and expand knowledge transfer, and to further develop the entire value chain.
Our success speaks for itself: Süderelbe AG is a founding member of the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) and co-initiator of the Germany-wide Supply Chain Excellence Initiative (SCE). In addition, for over a decade, it has fostered close ties with the Seattle-based Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA), the largest aerospace cluster in the world. Every year, Süderelbe AG has organised a delegation trip to the PNAA’s annual conference. Furthermore, on trips aimed at tapping new markets, Süderelbe AG has been able to forge ties with Japan, Brazil and Mexico.
